Villa Site Visit in Florence

This week we finally got our teacher to set up a site visit with an actual interior designer, not an architect or a landscape designer this time, but an interior designer. The site we visited was a villa that doubles as a vacation home for a family that resides in Bologna.

They found fresco paintings hidden in the ceilings from the 1500's.

TV which is going to be hidden behind a mirror in the wall kind of like a two way mirror.
 One of the fresco paintings
This is the master bedroom, it had a blue tooth setup in the closet, which was wired to two speakers in every room for an awesome sound system.
 Main entry
They took out two windows,  but painted their replicas on the outside wall to keep the look of the original structure.
