Rosignano Solvay

Today me and maya decided to hop a train from Florence and spend the night in the little beach town of Rosignano Solvay. The town is extremely small and also like a ghost town, but still really cool to walk through.
We wanted to go to the white sand beaches and planned our timing perfectly. After an afternoon nap we hiked through the dunes to get to the beach just about two hours before sunset and just as most people were leaving (bonus). The beach was by far the prettiest beach I have ever been on with the softest sand. I didn't have to worry about getting cut by broken shells or glass. We stayed until the sun went down and got some awesome pictures.
I know where we are going tomorrow!!

Verona & Lake Garda

Today we did our second trip outside of school to the land of Romeo & Juliet. It was a pretty town, there was some kind of festival going on so there were more tourists then usual. But we started off on a bridge which has very pretty views of the river.

Then made our way to Juliet's house.

Wrote my name on her wall.

 Her balcony.
Then we went to Lake Grada, which looks more like an ocean because it was so big. We went on a boat tour around the lake and though the castle's moat.

Pisa, Vinci, San Gimignano, & Siena

Today we went on our first guided trip. We started off with Pisa, which actually was really cool. I loved seeing all the tourist lined up the walkway with there hands up trying to take one of these.

Even thought the weather was off I think it made for some pretty cool pictures. Not to mention the rain limited the amount of tourists.San Gimignano was probably my favorite of the three.

We had a wine tasting lunch and then got to explore the "village" which was surrounded by a huge stone wall. We had what was suppose to be the best gelato in the world, but I tend to think they all taste the same. But the coolest thing about the town was the views from the hilltop church and the torture museums.

And then it was off to Siena, not my favorite place mostly because we were only in the places where the tourist were but, we got to see some pretty cool stuff and finish off the day with gelato.
