Today, we excited to explore the shopping district after our morning orientation. We started off getting checked in, getting highly informed about the dangers of being a young, "white" female in Italy, and then we wrapped that up with an unusual lunch of ham that looked like steak, extremely hard bread, and way to much mozzarella cheese. We then continued to spend the day in the shopping district. Passing stores like Gucci and Prada, we made our way to local "Mom & Pop" stores for some real Italian products. After 7 hours of walking around the shopping district we were starving, luckily it was a prime 9pm dinner time. After some consideration we settled Florence's best pizzeria (Local opinion) which we dinned with the owners Salvatore and Angelo. Best pizza and wine ever (And I don't even like wine), Goodbye dominos I am never going back. Below I have posted the building my school is located in, which has not one but two bars downstairs!
