Classes in Firenze!

Well I thought today was gonna be a good day. First day of classes, new schedule, people, environment, etc. But I must of pissed off some Italian god here because I accidently dropped my 400 degree curling iron in my lap this morning. Talk about pain, after a millisecond of it singeing my skin I gracefully got it off. Here is the affects 6 hours later.
To turn my day back around we attended my first Italian language class, where we learned the basics like (table, chair, etc.) I now know how to introduce
Myself, order gelato, and tell someone bothering me off. I hope to be fluent by the time I leave ( so that means mom and dad better brush up on the language, cause that's all I will be talking when I get home). After Italian we spent about 2 hours sketching the monuments in the Piazza Vecchio. I am actually really quite proud of my first sketch in Italy. I surprisingly found that I like sketching, not only for the relaxing nature, but because Asian tourist like to come up to you and either stand no more than 6" from you to look over your shoulder, ask to buy (I was really surprised at that one) or just to take a picture of you like you are a real piece of art. ( I saw some taking pictures of ATMs and vending machines so I am not exactly letting the compliment of them taking pictures of me go to my head).
My piece of art. ( looks like something Picasso would draw)...
